this just started like 15 minutes ago and i don't know how to stop it, and it happens with any game with that map

The map is ridiculously big, with a lot of territories and shittons of bonuses. It's very heavy.
You might want to take some measures; first, try Firefox. I'm a chrome guy myself, but your machine has to be pretty powerful to handle chrome's RAM devouring.
Second, try closing all tabs and everything you can before opening it.

It is one of the larger maps, so you may want to try clearing your cache to free up some memory.
