I was making a general comment about blockades, I didn't watch that game. Generally speaking, if you're thinking of blowing one, you probably shouldn't. And if you know you need to, don't do it with a massive stack (though don't do it too small either!)
Someone ran some statistics a while back on ladder games... and, if I remember correctly, use of Blockades was positively correlated with loss. So, the people who used Blockade cards tended to lose the games more often than the people who didn't! (The implications aren't exactly simple, but it's interesting nevertheless...)
generally if you're to a point where you need to use a blockade, then you're either at a make or break point, or you are losing and just trying to regain lost ground... if it was an abandon card it would be alot more useful.. but as a blockade, and 1v1.. it's use is pretty limited.

I wouldn't consider myself all that strong of a player.. too much meta at high rating, gets boring.. prefer chaos.. randomness is joy, randomness is pleasure. long live chaos.

That makes sense. When you stomp somebody, you don't usually use a blockade. They are used in close games. If you're in a close game, you are obviously more likely to lose.
