Do I really need to explain this again? You are the first and so far only person I've stalled against since I restarted the ladder. And the reason has nothing to do with rankings and everything to do with punishing you for behaving like an asshat. Which you continue to do.

Criticisms made towards people are almost always the ones we should make to ourselves.
This is not an exception.

You can admit you're stalling for your rank since I can't see how you're punishing me lol
If you want to punish me find a whip and hit me hard, it would be more efficient :p

Uh I read the chat and Ven definitely doesn't come across as an asshat. He asks you to surrender once (perhaps a bit accusatory on his part since he implies you're a staller) but he backs off when you say you think you've still got a chance. Next turn, he points out that the income disparity is ~5:1 and you just decide to punish him by stalling right then?

Talk about thin skin.

Ok, genius. Then explain why I'm doing it to you and only you. Watch my other losses. I've never done anything close to what I'm doing to you.

The fact that you keep crying about it shows the punishment is having the desired effect.

I take a few hours longer than normal to think, in a game I still think I have a chance to win, and for the first thing either of us said to each other he tells me to surrender and asks me if I'm trying to show everybody what a great staller I am.

That's Grade A Asshattery.

If your income was really as low as Ven says it is, then there's nothing wrong with publicly wondering whether you're stalling and then backing off when you explain why you're sticking around.

"It's not what you say, it's how you say it"

You continue to pretend he made a polite request when in fact he made an asshatilicious demand, accusation and insult.

He has continued with that tone here.

Now that the game is over, you can all notice that I was right from the beginning to the end :
https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?GameID=11095211

I started to complain Billy was stalling from turn 10 because he was 100% dead,
and then he started to cry like a baby and to play the victim while I was the victim.
Look at the chat.

Now I don't know if we can sanction him for such a behavior,
but at least you'd all know now that Billy is nothing more than the most arrogant and pathetic WL player of all times.
And I had never insulted you until now Billy,
but here you completely deserved it.

For the 17th time: I stalled because you were behaving like a child. If you had shown even one ounce of class, that game would have been over a long time ago. You continue to demonstrate your childish behavior here with your name calling and lying about what took place.

After watching the games, here are two things that may help you understand why I didn't think the game was over at Turn 10:

1. I didn't know you had East US. If I had, I probably would have surrendered.
2. You are looking at the game with eyes that tell you 'I'm better than this guy' or 'We are evenly matched' or something, and then asking yourself how the hell I think I'm going to escape? But that's not the same eyes I had. For one, I'm objectively far better than you. And, before the game even started, I identified a huge weakness in your game that proved to be 100% accurate. I'm not going to help you by telling you what it is, but it just so happens that weakness can be exploited in situations exactly like the one I found myself in on turn 10. So having done that work prior to the game to find weaknesses in your game and having confirmed the weakness I found, I wasn't going to just give up without seeing if I could use that weakness against you.

Now, you probably once again just ignore all of that and continue behaving like a child, but I am telling the truth.

Lol I don't care about your senseless words anymore.
I just posted the finished game to let people judge by themselves and see how long you've stalled
for a game you had lost. You, far better than me ? Let ma laugh as loud as all Earth could hear me.

You posted to show that i stalled after I already said repeatedly I was stalling and why I was stalling? OK.

If you were any good, you'd have a peak rank higher than 84th. That's a clear sign somebody is a poor player. But that's the beauty of Warlight. Everybody thinks they are good. Except for the players who are truly awful and then they just saw 'why do you take the game so seriously?' You're one step above those guys.

How could you not know he had East US? It's not like he was hiding income. You saw him deploy his whole income turns 8 and 9. Granted you had a card piece turn 10, so maybe you could work your way back at that point if you could take a bonus and prevent him from getting East China, but after that didn't work the autopilot could have won the game. If you're as good as you say you are, you must have known his income by turn 10.

Inferior players, like you, looking to take a shot at me, often make stupid remarks like this. Viewing one skill in a vacuum and presuming everybody who is good must know that because they know it. That's not the case. Though I thank you for pointing out that flaw in my game, it's something I should do more. Then I can add it to the repertoire of things I do far better than you.

1. I've never claimed I was such a great player, contrary to you. But are you really ?
2. Beren, an inferior player ? Anyway, now that you're not ready to fool anyone anymore, my work is done.
3. Thank you Beren, that's what I was trying to point out.
