I've played almost a thousand games. I've been playing since beta. I used to know almost everyone on this game. Now I log on and am lucky to know one person in my game. What happened to everyone? Has this happened to anyone else? It seems like all the old school players left. I miss the community that this game used to have.

sad to hear. But honestly I think a majority of the 'seasoned' players have been focusing on the Ladders and thats keeping them occupied rather then searching out on the Open Games list. I know I have. I've only been able to play Open 1v1's from time to time. Much less than what I used to join.

Ah, I found it. When you sign up for your account you have to Agree to the Rules before joining.


I just watched few random games that I played 2,3 months ago and !!! almost everyone was inactive for at least month!! About my first 10 games on warlight !!! - only I am still active!! WTF?

Out of all the friends I invited (10 at least), no one is active now. It's the normal course of things in any game.

(Yes, they left before the introduction of membership.)

The lifespan of a game like this is probably longer than that of a console game, especially before online/multiplayer content.

(But you wouldn't expect many people to play it for years and years.)

Before the membership was introduced, I saw much more people here, much more interesting games, and much more fun. Playing 3v3 / 2v2 / 1v1 is * boring. Even tournaments are *, there is nothing interesting in them, cause members are not intelligent enough to make some cool settings.

Before the membership was introduced, qaddafi went days at a time without saying something stupid.
