This doesn't hold water. If anything it is because the site is growing and more people are on it, diluting the group that you once had. Or perhaps the attention span is not that great as X pointed out and people cycle through and there are a similar amount of people at all times and it is different people instead of less people.

Seeing people you don't know most likely indicates growth, not death. But only Fizzer would know the answer to that. Also the site having its own grumpy message-board posters probably indicates life, not death.
