Do you envision such a poll to take place every now and then (for example before every new seasonal..?) so that the community can keep providing feedback on various things?

Would there be a chance to add the following high-rated templates to the RT ladder:

an idea i would like to see implemented that would improve ladder activity is realtime tournaments that use templates from the RT ladder counting for the realtime ladder ranking.

Comments:

• How does the rating change based on this tournament? Only the winner benefits? Top 4 get points? Points are proportional your finish in relation to the size of the tourney?
  
  
• Are there any limits on the number of RT tournaments you can join in a 20 hour period?
  If not, this just allows people to play more games(in which case, why not get rid of the 20 hour restriction to play another player instead).
  If there are limits, that seems like writing quite a bit of code to track the number of RT tourneys played in a 20 hour window.
  
  
• It makes it harder to weed out alts(which Fizzer is against on the RT ladder).
  

MOTD: i would just count all the games in the tournament as RT ladder games and affect participant ratings accordingly. ignoring the 20 hour no rematch window for the tournaments. it might make sense to have official times on rotating schedules (to help different timezones) to call people to participate in them.

+1 to replacing Turkey LD with Snow Mountains MA (instead of the lower rated France LD)
+1 to adding more templates to the ladder (especially if keeping less popular templates)

Does anyone know when the next seasonal ladder will start?

Please don't ruin a community voted poll and ignoring results by adding a commander + local deployments template.. I really dislike it and it would be enough to put me off playing the RT Ladder, I know some others who feel this way.

I support the suggestion of upping it to 15 templates with the new templates being a score of 3 or higher in the polls.

Again, I would be sad to see a community voted RT Ladder of 10 templates ruined by adding a Commander + LD template , 2 templates that contained these settings didn't even pass the 3 score in the poll! It's just stupid and would ruin it personally for me.

Have any of you complaining about LD, actually played the France LD template on the ladder yet?

I know a couple of you have, but seems like people just like to follow the crowd on hating LD without giving the new template a go first.

Example game of the improved version of the ld template. The bonus in the north fixed, no abandon card, 2 airlift cards instead.

I have tested the LD template and watched a few games on it. I have to say it's better than turkey, and the airlift cards as well as the map shape should prevent too long games in some way, which is an improvement.

However, I still dislike the template for the fact that it is a repeated map (French Brawl is already there), but also because it is still possible to stall the game for ages if someone is really into it.

Make an LD template on tic tac toe that would be way better if you hate stallers.

Make it two huge territories with disparate income and name it "French Duel". I'd rate it 5*
