Over the last few months, this week especially numerous bands we have come to love and our fathers before us... Have released comeback albums of snippets of the first song. While Weezer seems to have sold out on the new album they still have some great songs. While I don't feel the same for the recent releases of The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Radioheads new songs.
They seem generic, bland and a shadow of the bands they used to be. What has happened ?

Will Radiohead and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers survive this studio release, or will they sink into the perils of music hell like so many former great bands before them?

Sold out? Are you stupid? Who is weezer supposed to sell out to? They're not on contracts.

Their new S/T is great anyway. Every track is consistently stellar besides Thank God For Girls, and i will admit that even though Do You Wanna et al is a good song, it muddies the flow, but that's it really. It's not Blue, but i think it is much better than EWBAITE and i would call it the missing link between their 90s Era and Green-Maladroit, in terms of sound and quality. (I consider EWBAITE a follow-up to Hurley).

Musicians will naturally change when they mature. Their music might get different, but not necessarily bad. It's all subjective in the end. For example, some say Green is better than the Blue Album for Weezer. Those people might have trisonomy 21, but it's still their opinion.

Also, California Kids is a contender for being their 2nd best opening number, not to mention, what a magical first 30 seconds.

I enjoyed the album... But La Girlz was just plain terrible and Damn Daniel at the end ?

I thought LA girlz was one of the better tracks. It's just a music video, weezer always panders to the Internet fads lol
