I think the greater challange of skill is on an untested canvas.. say take the new netherlands map.. play with settings you both are familiar and comfortable with.. say no cards, low luck *0-20%* manual starting locations.. then the game will be based on how each of you assess the map, decide on your starting locations, figure out what you infer about where they will start, and your strategical ability.. no prior knowledge will cloud the outcome of the resulting game..

That is exactly what I said in previous post. I suggest 10 official games on 10 different maps with no bullshit and the results will be published here. The doubts will be resolved.
