I never said the clan in general sucks, I was pointing out the hypocrisy in referring to other clans as jokes while you have titles like that. Anyway your posting of random titles from MSF is irrelevant as I'm not the self righteous bugger calling others jokes.

EPIC FAGGOT 420 was an intentional, ironic title because Sleepybear jokingly suggested "420 BLAZE IT FAGGOT" (or some variation thereof) as his title right after I said that's the one sort of title I wouldn't let him have. It really doesn't say much about our clan or its ability to effectively contribute to members' experience.

If you look at clan titles as an indicator for a clan's value, well, that's why you're in MSF. :P

If your clan were as good as you claim you wouldn't have to say it, we'd know.

I'm not saying we're good. We've obviously had a rough recent history or I wouldn't be in charge. But there's a distinction between being in a rough spot and being a junk clan that mostly trolls the forums and doesn't have community activity that actually includes most of the members.

I'll be the first to admit that our players aren't the best there are- especially given Clan League (the vast majority are either exclusive diplo players or weak on strat fundamentals).

And I didn't make this thread to attack other clans- it's literally just an outline of our recruitment policy that's posted publicly and easy to refer to. There was no purpose to this thread beyond that.

But instead, MSF decided to try to take it as a way to claim that they are superior to the wolves clan, because they seem to be trying to claim superiority titles over other clans, or something like that.

So I gotta ask, @MSF, why did you intentionally try to derail a recruitment thread into a flame war?, there's literally no purpose to doing that.

Which is why I am adding all of MSF to my black list. That's what you get for being jerks on the forum.

Edit: which I understand is unfair to the people in the clan that I have played enjoyable games with, but seriously if your leadership is going to be a d*ck, I think this is an appropriate action.

Wow, it was just a joke, and MSF is a bit of a joke clan, but TLW got their hairs up and their knives out "for the pride of the clan!"

Says the guy who wrote an entire diatribe about CORP using the Rising Sun flag.

Then again, I guess that does make you the expert on overreacting. :P

If its a joke clan, I still expect the leadership to act in a rational manner of the global forums.

If the members are joking around, that's okay, but I take the actions of the leadership as actions that represent the entire clan.

As such, if it had not been Bane who we know is the leader of MSF derailing or attempting to derail the thread, I would not have responded in such a manner, while others may have, I would not have.

Basically, I hold leaders of organizations to have higher standards of communication, coordination, and just in general public niceness than the remainder of their clan, even if it is a joke clan. I also expect a degree of competence in diplomacy, and clearly bane has failed to show such an activity.

You have really awful members in TLW, many them are braindead and/or mean. I have not blacklisted you or knyte, though - since you're not. You're just blacklisting "innocent" (better word?) folk.

valid point, but that's a reverse situation, I never expect an entire populace to be good in any way, shape, or form. However I expect leadership to be at least reasonable, as such I feel the best way to get the point across to the leadership is to blacklist the entire clan, so that way the populace with responds with some form of demands of them behaving on OWF.

I probably did overreact though, but I am definitely keeping MSF leadership on the blacklist.
