I'm sure this has been asked somewhere in the past but I am too lazy, how do you effectively use and combat bomb cards? I am playing my first game with them and I would like to have some tips before going into a war.

Well lets start with when the bomb will go off



well since it goes off before they can move a stack, make it go off on a pretty big stack.

The Bomb also works before airlifts, so it's very effective at bombing where someone is airlifting from, but also very ineffective to bomb where an airlift might be going.

If depends if it's a 1v1 or FFA, but generally you want to bomb a large stack either before attack it, or just as they are about to attack you. Be aware that they might be bombing you too.

Try and save your bombs as much as you can, and also to defend against them try and spread your troops out, maybe into 2 or 3 stacks. They might be more vunerable to 1 single stack, but that's when you can bomb them, so don't be afraid to have several smaller ones :)

Bomb happens after deployment but before the moves take place. You could deploy in the background and move your stack to the border first order. That way you don't lose half your deployment if your opponent bombs you there.

Tips:
1) Unlike the reinforcement cards, it may not be wise to use upon you getting it. Save it for a while. The later you boom, the bigger the effect.

2) In FFA games, don't boom your neighbor too soon since that usually leads to a revenge boom:)
