Yep. Trump visited Hartford. Now, I went for three reasons:
1. I've never heard a presidential speak live.
2. I wanted to see the protesters, and wonder why on Earth they aren't supporting their candidates...
3. Why not? I'm interested in the election. I may want Kasich, but Trump's my backup.


It was rather interesting. I met some people like me, who were moderate, I met a protester holding a sign, saw a protester nearly hit a supporter with a sign, and some people from the far right.

Trump had some good points in my opinion, some which I cringed at (the wall mostly), but it was quite short. Less than an hour of him speaking. His speaking style's pretty simple, straightforward, and somewhat mocking.

Plus I got a hat.

Kasich and Trump are pretty alike. They're both the two worst candidates, but Trump is not much worse.

Something like 90% of Jewish folk are democrats (And by Democrats, I mean like the most far left people you'll pretty much meet in america), I just kind of thought it a bit strange that he would be a fan of any sort of republican.

And I'm in this stage where I fluctuate between moderate Democrat and moderate Republican. But since Clinton and Sanders are awful, I went with Kasich.

This is just a cliché, many Jews are going to vote for Trump, see in Europe, a great minority of homosexual people vote for far right parties (it goes up to 30%!) but these parties are totally against homosexual rights and would even consider them as abominations, criminals and people to put in jail (like it used to be some decades ago, homosexuality has been decriminalised in the 80s in most European countries after all).

The one thing that keeps Trump from being a white supremacist is the fact he is orange ;)
