What happens if there's a tie in the scores of a Round Robin Tournament?

In every RR tournament with a tie that I've looked at, the person who takes 1st is the one who beat the person they were tied with. So, if player A and player B both have 7 wins and 1 loss, and player A lost to player C and player B lost to player A, player A would be 1st and player B would be second.

I can't confirm that this is how it always is, but it's how it's been in the tournaments I've looked at.

what about a 3 way tie?

If A beats B, B beats C, and C beats A, I've heard rumor that it's random.

If its a 3 way tie, the winner is whoever has the longer name.

True, and if the names have the same length, it's decided by whoever guesses the closest date to fizzer's birthday.

That's because members come first ;)

Also if you have the symbols in any of the three players names it fucks the formula up and it's hard to know who will win in that case.

Maybe he won that because he got Fizzer's birthday right on the first shot he had at it, that's a side rule for breaking ties without going to the name length one.
