Blue Precision is a name that comes to mind, he had been playing from the very early days of Warlight and always did well on the ladder, yet never reached Nr. 1 there.

Yeon by a landslide I think. Widzisz and Krzychu can get silver and bronze in any order. BP is a valid option as well, but he was not as good as Yeon (I had both as teammates on the 2v2 so it's easy to compare).
Now for the worst player who took first place, I vote myself.

I personally would say Widzisz. He was one of the strongest opponents I've ever faced on Strategic 1v1, and it was quite surprising to me that he never took #1.
Yeon and Fath are also both very strong players who are good enough to not only take #1, but also hold it for a while. There's also a few more older players like Salah that I don't know as well, but from what I've heard of them, could have easily taken #1 if they had another (or first) shot at it. Dunga also comes to mind, as I believe that Timinator took #1 on his account, but dunga never actually did. Dunga was one of the most creative Strategic 1v1 players I've ever seen and was possibly the best at Strategic 1v1 when he retired, despite never taking #1.

i agree with Ox from my point of view. i have taken place 31 with a score of 1885.. today that would be place 46.
The old WR template rating was hard... with 2000 points you are lucky to be in the top 30 (the thread about the inflation of the ladder, if forgot who started it, was fun for me)
back to my discussion. i started 1 month after the new SR ladder was started, if was easy for me to climb. now its harder.. 100 pints harder. and after a half year that ill be maybe 200 points.
well, what i wan to say?
old o the new template, whats the condition? we should separate it.

I side with NZ phoneus hes cool gentleman. It looks like he didn't want to play anymore, like he wanted to do somethings else, and the yellow was stalling.
