No rage. Just amazement for how unfathomably irrational some people can be. Especially when behind a keyboard. Genuinely hope they (and yourself) don't act like this IRL.

All settings are tweaked kek. There are no standard settings (except for kill rates) there are defaults but they're not really standard. To be standard implies that its the average and most games have cards in them so saying that games without cards are ''tweaked'' therefore not standard, is a lie.

Joining a game, you agree to the settings. Was it unusual? Yeah, probably. But don't be salty for losing. They never said it's an objective measurement of skill (because there isn't any) you care wayy too much about losing though. You lost. Well, shoot. You didn't know the settings? Sounds like a pretty lame excuse to me. Just accept the loss and move on.

Brilliant logic there. Most games have cards, thus your game qualifies as standard or average. I love it. It's so simplified. Can't argue against that watertight argument.
We'll just ignore the fact that you had it so that there was one blockade per turn. That is standard too! Duh.
Any other strawmen you'd like to build up and knock down?

What's the actual point of your arguments? You warned us that they create games that many of us aren't used to. Got it. Now go away and don't join their games again (unless you want to). What else would you expect to achieve, honestly?

It is a strawman to say that I was calling your game unusual for having cards period. Which is what you have repeatedly tried to argue against.
Death, yes I understand, my bad for joining a game without reading the settings. This wouldn't have been a thing except these juveniles thought that their playground insults of "salty" were funny of a forum post. That's what I get for trying to reason with someone on the internet. Never ends well.

And I'll add that with some of these unique game "tweaks" (like the blockade card every turn)... More often than not even with every setting read, it's not obvious what the strategy is until the game play starts.
Let's not pretend that these type of game aren't motivated by the host's desire to play games with a large home field handicap.

andre why are you so salty? you're just trying to justify your loss without admitting it was due to a lack of skill. You can't adapt to new maps you admitted it. Thats a lack of skill m9, you need to work on adapting to new maps.

Klarik, the number of holes in that last post, it's not even worth addressing them one by one. I'll refer to Brandolini's principle: "the amount of energy needed to refute bullshit is an order of magnitude bigger than to produce it"
