The real time ladder only sets you up for matches if you have clicked the "join ladder" and it will stop after you click "leave ladder". What about that is, as you say, "without your knowledge"?

you're a blatant troll. It never states that it will sign you up for matches until you hit leave. When it says join I presume it means for 1 match. Now take your trolling to the OT forums.

That's why you should leave the ladder when you leave WarLight and are not able to play, as otherwise the ladder may create a game, which you will be booted from. I apologise for coming across as a troll, but as wct said, it does say it right there.

when I join a RT game I don't expect to get match after match after match. I didn't expect the ladders to be any different. wct I can't read.

If you boot from one it leaves for you. And if it gives you another match it really isn't that hard to click leave ladder.

He will not be the first, nor last person to mistake RT-Ladder here! Many people have previous experience in other online Board/Turn type of games. Standard is that when one Clicks Join to Real-Time/Online-Time/Match-Connect/Find-Opponent etc.. He expects to be matched with 1-player and that´s all until he clicks it again or declines before anything gets started!

So a ladder player should leave the ladder before they finish their current game,
to ensure that they won't be started on a new one?

Wow, I'd be real careful about joining the RT ladder even if I had the skills and the level to make the cut.

If you don't understand the RT ladder maybe learn about it before joining it.

despite the cluelessness on how the system works i agree the button should be for just 1 game, or have a tick box you can select to auto-remove you from the ladder once you get your game.

most people only want to play 1 game at a time and sometimes forget to leave the ladder.
