Well i dont know if u feel the same way but ever since warlight got itroduced to lvls i find it difficult to play an interestig game with good settings (its not because i have blacklisted some players and surely am on the blacklist of some) its because most the times the offered games are LOTTERY games and people try to get points .... is there any solution to this? maybe give normal games more points than lottery games i dont know what do u think how could warlight be changed to help get good games back in the lobby and how could we get back good players (mostly high lvl players) who only play ladder games now and dont wanna fight in a good real time game??

Maybe get creative. Make your own map. Your own templates. Try different things with strange maps. Boredom is a fool's excuse. I myself could keep occupied playing the same map repeatedly (which I do most of the time) and enjoy it. Takes an imagination to keep things interesting.

You've set up your fair share of Lottery games, so I can't see the justice in you complaining, there's more than just you out there trying to level up.

That aside, following the above-person's advice and set up your own games and tournaments or considering buying a membership and joining the ladders, you'll be kept busy enough with those.

You have not acknowledged the advice that I gave to create a map or is that beyond your capacity? Even if that is the case there are a large number of maps to choose from. Frankly you're spoiled for choice.

get higher win rate and you'll be able to see the games the high level players are playing. 50% prerequisite isn't uncommon for games with decent strategic settings.

Weisblut, being able to express yourself properly on the forums does give you a superior position because it allows others to understand what you're saying more clearly. Many words are lost in translation because the way we use them may not be the same as the way others perceive them. Remember, language is a tool used to improve communication, but it's far from perfect, having been *created* and utilized by imperfect beings.

He's not saying make your own maps, as in draw them up. He's saying use the maps available on WarLight and make your own templates, then others will join you of their own will and accord. Instead of complaining that people don't create enough real-time games when you're on, create your own.

Lawliet's advice is everything you need, and I completely agree. You wanted to know how to find interesting games and "get more good games back"? Create them yourself, for starters. Why sit around and wait for other people to make them? If everyone took that mindset then nothing would get done. Be creative, try new things out. The only way you'll know if it works or not is to make something and test it out.

This is just a loose observation from my point-of-view, but the constant spam of lottery and point-farming games has made the 'Open Games' menu unappealing. I've been making new multi-day Europe team games and have been having a hard time finding players to fill them up, which has been disappointing. I think it's a good, balanced template that allows for fun to be had in a team setting. I know there's still plenty of players out there that just want to have fun and don't care about these games to farm points, you just gotta find 'em. I don't have many friends here in the game so unfortunately I have to rely on having open seats to fill them up. The games still give lots of points if you win and you might have to be patient for the games to end most of the time, but I'm not looking to insta-farm levels. I might have a membership but there is still many new unlocks I'd love to have and I'll get to 'em eventually. The game experience is much more fun (getting to meet new players from all over and working as a team to achieve victory) to me anyways.

Be proactive and try things you've never done before. Play maps you've never played or incorporate cards you haven't played with much. It's got to start somewhere, right?

@ hauptmann i dont want to see any light and u have played 1 of my games if have prob created more games then the 3 of u have played together (and i dont mean lottery games)
