Who can solve the riddle!



Mr. Jackson went to bed early. Unable to get to sleep, he decided to count imaginary Sheep. He ended up counting around 500! But he drifted off and lost his place! " what ever will I do! " he thought. He counted another 80 but decided to take away 24 because they were black ( he was racist ) but added 570 later on while counting. After counting another 20 ( and taking away 13 of those because they were black ) he decided to count overall how many black and white sheep he had. He's drifted off without counting so I need your help....how many black and white sheep did Mr. Jackson Have?

well... this is a trick question that depending on one word is one of the following


1. 0
2. Impossible to tell

Why zero? ( technically not correct just change your word )

but added 570 later on while counting.



I can not tell if that means he counted 570, or he just added it to make up for the one he lost earlier... meaning that if you count THE ENTIRE thing then it is impossible to give an exact number because we do not know how many he counted since it says around 500.


If you are looking for a close-ish answer which tells grammar, the most important part of riddle's, to suck it.

The answer would be AROUND 1203


Not to mention the grammar is a bit inconsistent

Well by the wording of the text, i would not be able to assume that the question regards the sheep he counted instead the sheep he has in the material world. Thus i would also proclaim he HAS no sheep at all.

Then why would he doze off counting 0 sheep... if that is correct then this riddle is more inconsistent then a Hilary Clinton War Story

This riddle has so many flaws that grammatically, it was unsolvable, logically, unsolvable. You have to throw those 2 out to get the answer which is NEVER good for a riddle to do as it throws the 2 main reasons riddles are riddles out the window.

Relm is right. The riddle has too many ambiguities in the wording. Even Genghis' answer can't be proven from the text, since it's possible that, while the sheep he was counting were imaginary, the guy might actually own real sheep, and we don't know how many he owns.
