Well i am the guy who started those ninja games but now i have been punished for creating them by deduction of 10 LVLs .... i dont know who did it and who is responsible for it and i am currently trying to reach fizzer lets see how it goes in the meantime i wanna know from u du u think they are unfair or unethical????? i mean they are well within the rules of warlight!!! Check the game settings (thats a term on warlight wiki)
Game creators can change the value of bonuses, and someone could set a bonus to be much bigger than it is usually worth. Then they attempt to capture that bonus at the start of the game, giving them an easy victory. In these games, be sure and check the settings yourself and deploy there yourself to prevent your opponents from capturing that bonus. (also found and warlight wiki rules

I find these games only "points making games", as there is 0% strategy involved and 100% luck games. I played a few myself just for hazard, but it actually screwed my stats as i was extremelly unlucky ;)

Oh man, was hast du dir dabei gedacht? Du machst ja sonst immer gute Mappen :P
Victory on the Pirate-Ninja map is based entirely on who gets the first move, or the higher bonus (if one is overridden). Seeing as since the 2.0 update, there has been a surge of new players who lack the experience to check the settings, this can be viewed as taking advantage of them. That is unethical as well as unfair, so I have to agree with the mod that punished you. 10 levels may be a bit harsh, but it's meant to discourage you from continuing.
Remember, the more players on Warlight, the more revenue for Fizzer and the more he can update and expand. We should encourage new players by giving them a friendly environment and not setting up maps that will discourage them from coming back. As for experienced players who like playing these maps...well, to each his own, but maybe set up with them instead of putting the game in the lobby.

Weisblut i think its you that is misunderstanding what i am saying.
I never once said i was more experienced than you, i never said you should play "real" games or that you should do what you are doing. for all i care you can play all the crappy pointless games you want.
You specifically started a thread to ask people for their opinion on whether its right or wrong to drop you 10 levels. I expressed my opinion that you should have been dropped more.
what did you want from this thread? a bunch of replies saying " awwwww poor Weisblut got deducted 10 levels i really feel for the guy?" well that was never likely on warlight now was it?
if you find this style of game enjoyable then i have another game you might enjoy playing over and over and over and over again. You might find it a little tricky at first but im sure you will get the hang of it after a few tries....its called Tic Tac Toe ;-)

Whether it's against the rules or not depends on the game. If it's automatic distribution (i.e. people who don't read the settings have the same odds of winning as those who do) and if it's named something appropriate, like "Lottery game" (so the people who don't want that kind of game can avoid it), then it's okay.
However, if the game is specifically crafted just to try to exploit players who don't know how to read settings, then that's a problem. Weisblut's games were clearly this: they used maps without bonus links to hide which territory was overridden, they used manual distribution, and they contained text telling players to pick a specific territory (when really the winning territory was a different one).
Weisblut was also given a warning asking him to stop doing it. He only lost levels because he disregarded the warning and continued doing it anyway.

Weisblut, if this was Nazi Germany, you'd be in Auschwitz and not getting docked 10 levels. If you were in Communist East Germany you would get a letter and be arrested upon opening the letter with the excuse that you had been warned, but failed to comply.
From what Fizzer just posted you deliberately disregarded the warnings and deserve more than 10 levels and yes that is entirely unethical and unfair.
For shame sir, for shame.
