I can explain you the basics if you want to. Like, pronunciation, basic grammar, basic vocab... now that I think of it, I'd actually love to explain Polish to somebody ^^

Just do whatever you think is better for you. I guess you can find some good on-line page that'd learn you all that stuff.

I know Polish has an abnormal amount of "z"s, "k"s, and "w"s.

If you find a good source let me know please, pm or whatever. I tried learning it a couple of times. It's a language that works on your nerves with a background of English. I couldn't find any decent sources to learn Polish and it just seems very discouraging in general.

I know a few phrases in polish: greetings, swear words, I love you's etc. But actually constructing a proper sentence in Polish on your own I found really hard.

I don't know if OP is serious about learning Polish, I gave up but hopefully I will retry to learn the language.

Those 3 aren't really more common than in other languages, "w" is read like "v" (which doesn't exist in polish), while "q" (not in polish too) and "c" in other languages are redundant with "k" so in polish it's all one. Though "z" is used for 2-letter vowels like "h" in english ("sz", "cz", "rz") and those are significantly frequent indeed. :p
