I've drunk about 10 times in my life.

Everytime i hate alcoholic beverages. I'd imagine similar cases for other people here.

I dont care if you kill yourself but please dont involve others in YOUR problems. Thats why alcohol should be prohibed. It kills innocent people.

I do not think most drugs should be legal. My only exception is for actual medical purposes.

I'm a teetotaler. Never drunk in my life. Its a dangerous intoxicant.

Like I said, alcohol isn't especially bad for you. Illegal drugs are.

Another point, alcohol is engraved in our culture; there's no getting rid of it, even if there were a valid reason. Cigars and cigarettes are another example of this, and they are an example that have valid reasons for their prohibition.

Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Heroin, LSD, shrooms, etc. are not something we should let become culturally accepted, because recreational use of these is not healthy at all (I say recreational only because of the medical uses of Marijuana).

I'm still not convinced by the argument that cigarettes are more harmful than alcohol. If anything I think they're equal in that cigarettes are a greater danger to individual health and alcohol is a greater danger to public health.

Things like this will never change, for the simple fact that although LSD has been shown to be safe, it's too cheap and easy to produce, so it won't generate money from tax.

Even though alcohol and nicotene cause way more damage, they are easy to tax, and the system is already set up for that.

Same goes for weed, although it's been shown to be 4 times safer than tabacoo, the system is already set up to produce and sell taxed tabacoo. It's a purely economical thing. In the UK there was a head scientist who pointed these things out and the government sacked him. There's just way too much money at stake here.

Just like the oil companies are keeping us all on hydrocarbon engines. All the better systems are patented by the same companies so they can't be used.

I don't quite get the logic in putting weed in a list of drugs including Cocaine and Heroin, It's natural and has minimal if any damaging affects. It should also be noted that good sellers I've seen sell just Marijuana or at the most shrooms as well. Two different worlds man...
