Well, in my school, we are able to learn Spanish, French, and German (I took German). So a good percent of us have learned a second language. The hard part is remembering it after you graduate.

Oh, we want free healthcare and education. I think we want free education more, and at least affordable healthcare.

The education system has made a half-hearted attempted to force people into learning a second language, by only a small fraction actually remember anything after taking foreign language classes.

It's rarely discussed, but most people are pretty neutral about the U.K,France,Spain,etc. still holding on to a few islands.

Many are still hardcore Capitalist, but there's a growing shift of people who want free education and healthcare.

Spain doesn't (Canary Islands is a fully integrated community, as if you say Alaska) but it is true UK, France, and Netherlands also own some of them yet.

No, that tax money is going elsewhere.

Why Americans (most of them + their government) do not care at all about climate change, and why are the US the only developped nation to selfishly always block any negociations about ecology and important measures that need to be taken before it's too late? (see today's Paris World Climate Summit, and Copenhagen, Rio or Johannesburg summits in the past)

There's more opportunity for scandalous activities, and given the nature of some businesses and the way our law works, it's just a thing that is so easy.

This should be, "how messy divorces can be" - plenty of people have amicable separations; divorce doesn't have to be worse than inconvenient.
