So, reading all of this was any general conclusion drawn? I know I'm late to the party but we are redistributing clan roles.

With the current Clan League system in play wouldn't that be the simplist way to get the clan wars idea rolling. Only question with that format would be if it would standardize the maps and settings that are played. If that were the case clans could specialize as a whole to focus on these styles. The drawback looks like multiple clan participation which could take time.

Has anyone considered the idea of a Clan challenge as a method of Clan War? If this is the case the only issue is honesty as to who wins the challenge to determine rankings unless leaders of clans report them to someone in charge of a thread. That would allow Clans to "specialize" their warfare. The challenged clan should be allowed to counter offer if the settings are unfair and there should also be a set time to allow strategy to be determined before official clan battles begin.

If both systems are implimented I would allow a general ranking by using the multiple clan tournaments and then a possiblity of challenging clans one or two spots higher in the ranking system to allow different placement in a season.

I think clans should be free to members.
