I decided to try and make a more artistic map than I normally do, and also a type of map I have yet to see (a ski area). Not sure this has any strategic value (have not played a game on it), but I think it looks nice anyway:

Please let me know what you think.

To Do:
-Test games for play-ability
-Expand some territories to allow for 2 digit army numbers to fit better.

Well Chris, your last published map was a long time ago but I can tell you that this looks promising.

Thanks. Like I said I didn't really put any thought into the strategic value of it, but more wanted to learn some artistic things I could do in there. Next project is to resume the clan wars map.

Good idea. If you have some free-space (memory) I'd reccomend trying to smooth all those jagged lines into nice curves which are far more natural for skiing slopes

in other words: less zig-zags on slopes (if any)

I have skied Loveland before, fun times. Getting back on I-70 afterwards can be kind of insane, though.
