A week or two ago I decided to leave the 1v1 ladder because I wanted a new start, but typically my last two games I played I won against 2 >2000 rated players. Should I rejoin now? Or still wait cause my games are all expiring.

My advice: Join the ladder because you enjoy 1v1 Strats with players your level, not because you want to get a high rank or rating.
If you have had enough of 1v1 MDs, stop.

Nevertheless, well done, my padawan ;)

Apollo are you trying to get as high a rating as possible when you return?

Wait a few months and then start playing games. If you wait until absolutely all games are expired then youll start at the bottom against blowfly and such. This is bad because wins aginst them count for nothing and a loss will rape your rating. If you rejoin 16/10/13 with 3 wins and 3 losses youll get rated 1800ish and start off playing decent players and wins will get you decent ratings boosts. Try to get ranked (with 15 games) when you still have the wins against abr and chris unexpired because theyre gonna give you a big boost. Usually a players rank is highest when they have 15 games unexpired and it decreases as more games are played so timing is everything.

I would recommend that you rejoin the ladder immediately and play more games to improve. It wont get you the highest rating right now, but long term you will learn more and get a higher rating later.

Thanks for you advice. I'm not sure, I guess I'm not good enough to get as high a rating as possible yet because that would be higher than 25th :/. I just wanted to restart because I was in bad form and I wasn't enjoying the games. Obviously the reason why I asked if I should re-join, is because I wanted to know, if id get higher than my best, as I annoyingly beat two high rated players when I quit. But as you said on your last two sentences, I think it would be best to join now.

I think there should be 'ladder reset' button somewhere... I also wanted to start over one time but that is not allowed. 3 months is too long— you will loose your shape than : (

True but you could just have a button for Expiring every game that hasn't yet. Then you would reset all your wins and loses.

And the people who had defeated you? You're looking at this from a very selfish perspective.
