No it really doesn't. Just because someone posts images without any commentary doesnt show anything. I could post a bunch of pictures of barney the fuckin dinosaur but that doesnt prove I like show or the character or even dinosaurs in general. You're making assertions without evidence. I have also stated several times why I posted those images, it was to start a discussion in which anyone could have partaken. Hell a discussion didn't even have to happen tbh I just thought the pictures looked nice. The contrast and the colors looked beautiful and I thought it would serve a dual purpose 1.start a discussion on nazi germany (which it did not) 2.show people the beauty of colorized ww2 era images.

I think ISIS wants to bring countries to the middle east so they can get hostages to get money and the idea of Look what I did to a western nation. I think what Genghis is trying to say is that this has happened so many times that we get numb and used to these things happening. Lets take the example of shootings in the United States. There have been so many that its just another shooting to us and we are used to it. But to be clear France has been getting the most horrible of attacks on western soil. Its not 30 60 or 90 dead it is up to 130 dead. That is a horrible tragedy that should never have happened and I do hope there is a solution going to be found soon.

To the east Romans, they were still Romans. In their minds, they had always been Romans. So it's probably more historically accurate to say he is Roman emperor, but it will confuse less educated Plebs so we say byzantine or east Roman.

In the beginning of this thread, it had a good purpose. Unfortunately it has spun off topic into racism and hate. This thread isn’t about Africa or Romans or China. This thread is supposed to be dedicated to the lives lost and people injured in the attacks on Paris. People who are talking on topics unrelated to France are doing the same thing as going to a funeral to start arguing with one another over what type of ice cream flavor is the best. Would you want that if it was the funeral of the one you loved most? If you have opinions non-related to France and the tragedy that occurred, create another thread and post it there.

My condolences to the families who have lost loved ones during these attacks. It is a horrible act and the attacks should be stopped before any more happen.

Really saddening to hear about the brutal crimes committed in Paris, Beirut, and many other places.

I don't think the Warlight forums are a good place to discuss this though. The nature of the forum format makes it so that anyone with inflammatory attitude gets a stage, and dumb comments cannot be drowned out. The intention of people here may be good, but I don't think anyone is waiting for the supportive comments from a small online game forum. If I were a moderator and I didn't want to go after individual comments or people, I would just lock this thread to prevent worse.
