Mine are gauntlets. Think about it, tempered steel gauntlets with short blades coming off the fingers or perhaps the knuckles. You can kill with them. You can block weapons with them. You can take weapons away with them. You can instill fear in enemies by killing with them.
This is only possible, of course, if you have some hella good armor, as you would be real close and personal with people.

Those short blades would break pretty easily.
Anyway, my weapon is the spear. A spear is very versatile and uncomplicated. It has got the range, the speed and is very effective against cavalry if other people are with you.
