The screams and cries of distress and rage bellowed unrestrained through the Cathedral. Listening to the voicelog, it was clear to everyone. SirSalty had been responsible for this foul atrocity.
"YOU WILL NOT TAKE ANOTHER ONE FROM US!" They screamed.

The hysterics reached a climax as the townspeople grappled SirSalty onto the Alter. Binding his hands and feet, the townspeople moved as if they were one body.
"Bring me the lampstand." Ordered one.
"The pot of incense, it's decons quaters."
"Heat up the crucifix here."

The mayor watched on, eyes gleaming as the townspeople set up their contraption.
"Strip him bare!" Shouted one of the townsmen.
"Deny him his dignity!"
Mercilessly, a dozen hands tore and shreded through his clothes. Sharp items were being procured from everywhere and methodically embedded into his skin.
"Arhah!" Wept SirSalty.
"It's not.. not me!"
"You can deny your guilt to the devil when you're in hell forever!"

A completely naked SirSalty lay cut and bleeding on the Alter.
"Set fire to the incense. Heat up the Alter to it's hottest temperature."
"It will be done good Mayor."

The fire under the Alter started kindling. Smoke vapour enveloped the cathedral, creating a sharp, intoxicating smell.
"Do not let him die quickly." Said the mayor, voice as cold as steel.
Teeth gritted, the townsmen held the staff of the crucifix in the flames. The Alter began to heat, causing SirSalty to hyperventilate.
"God.. have mercy.. on my soul.. AhaAHR!!"
Searing Pain enveloped SirSalty as the heat rose in waves into the Alter's surface. Beneath him, the townsmen had turned the head of the crucifix red hot. The Golden image of the cross radiating the pain that it depicted.
"Set fire to the Alter now!" Called the Mayor. "Raise him up on it!!"
The townspeople bundled clothes, books and sticks around SirSalty.
"Make him stand for his death!"
The townsmen flipped the screaming SirSalty onto his front, dousing the revealed burns with the crackling incense. SirSalty pealed with agony, convulsing and thrashing in his throes of sheer trauma.
"Do it now!" Cried the Mayor.
The townsmen screamed, charging forward they thrusted the red hot crucifix into the rear end of SirSalty, Pushing until it was securely embedded.
The rapturous sirens of pure malevolence tore like thunder throughout the cathedral. Raising the screaming SirSalty above the burning alter, the townsmen held him high enough for the flames to lap and sear his skin without burning to his vital organs.

SirSalty stopped thrashing, mouth agape and eyes wide in the ecstasy of terror and agony. The flames caught hold and covered him, rising in a pillar of charred flesh and bone to the bell towers of the Cathedral of Kalisville.

The mournful wail was heard for miles. But through all the cries of loathing and malice was not heard the wail of a demon being exorcised.

In one swift motion two sword are locked In a battle with the forces of good and evil displaying there strength.

Slash slink smash

Striking at full power New Luna's sword hits the Mayor's forcing it down and tearing thought both this cheeks. Blood flows down the Mayor's face and neck soaking his clothes while his jaw hangs loose.His possessed eyes glow furiouly as his aggressor moves in for the kill

"What one has been given will also be taken Away" Luna announces. Dramatically slicing the Mayor's stomach is heavily lacerated his most exposed organs suffering as he falls backwards. Luna stepping forward impaling him between the shoulder blade. Writhering stuck on the floor in agony the mayor sees his victor kneel on his chest, grimace and pull a dagger from his belt. Rising his arms to strike luna dagger penetrates deep into the Mayor's heart

Stained in blood New Luna rises...

I'm still going to keep up with the game if that's okay with everyone.

Maybe don't hang too many innocents without conclusive evidence as well.
