I'm trying to start a 2v2 ladder team with a friend, but we can't see each other in the dropdown.
We're friends in game. We are both playing the 1v1 ladder. We're both paid members. I can see other people in the dropdown list.
Does anyone know why we wouldn't be able to start a team together?

What is their profile? Please post it.

Is it possible you just can't see them because of the sort? It does some odd things (is case sensitive) with the sorting.

He's trying to start one with me. No one shows up on my list for proposes a 2v2 ladder team.

jpr is on my friends list. Neither of us have achieved the level required for the 2v2 ladder, but we've both unlocked it via membership. Don't know if that makes a difference.

Have you tried the 3v3 ladder? It should be the same thing, so I am curious to whether it works there or not.

^Make sure that the ladder shows as unlocked. (It is close to the bottom)

EDIT: Just read this part "I can see other people in the dropdown list." hmm. Try to unfriend him, then refriend him again. Oh and make sure neither of you is on the other guys Blacklist.

Just added both of you as friends and I cannot send either a ladder invite either, I doubt it is a friend list issue. It has to be that you both don't have something unlocked. Do what TBest suggested.


Is Final Earth unlocked for you? (it says level 50 or mega maps, but not with Membership also?). Try to create a game with the ladder settings (click on a finished one, grab the template and create one). It will tell you right away if you don't have a setting unlocked.


Seems like Final Earth should also be in Featured Maps since it is on the ladder. Not sure why USA and Africa are on there, but not maps that are currently on ladders.

Just checked the 3v3 ladder, and I can't invite you either. (I can however invite a low level member that I have on my Friendlist.)

All of the ladders show as unlocked for me on the Unlockables page (presumably because of membership).
The Final Earth map is locked for me.
I mentioned that I can see other people in the dropdown list to invite to join my 2v2 team. All the people who show up there are level 54 or higher.

Yeah, so the issue is the map not unlocking with membership (as it should). It has been that way since the map switched I am sure, but perhaps nobody tried to play the 2v2 ladder since that didn't already have it unlocked.
