i saw a game where a Player who didn't realize there are new Settings, played like 20 turns vs a VERY experienced Player on the new ladder and won in the end :D

Haha I find that very funny. I'm still getting to grips with the new settings after working so hard to become good at the old settings

so i guess the greatest strategic template, the template i used to Play for Ages, the template that meant warlight for me, is definitely dead.

I wrote Fizzer if he would now create a poll as promised (the uservoice was very successful), but he didn't answer. also his Statement on PS "to uservoice or not to uservoice" thread https://www.warlight.net/Forum/111355-uservoice-uservoice
proved me right, that fizzer just wanted to give us the Feeling that he cares about our opinion on this Change. still claiming he tought the Change was wanted by the majority of the community after the update was done, is just pure hypocrisy.

I'm really sad about this. the 1vs1 ladder died for me. Hopefully at least his plan to promote coingames trough that change will work out.

Don't play coin games if you are upset. Or play only 1v1 Classic coin games.

I won't play coin games in the closer future for sure. I won't support that update indirectly. 1vs1 classic coin games still Support coin games even if here is no creating fee

Even with 10,000, he'd put it as one of the many features that will not be currently on the "roadmap" for the next 3 years.

Getting used to the new settings has been a challenge in its own right. For example, look at Fifa 16, they changed it completely and the people who were badass at it are complaining about it.


So why not master both. Unless you really aren't Masters.... Because true Masters would only complain after destroying the competition not before its ever really begun.

I know i'm not bad at the new settings des :) but playing them is no fun so i'll fight for the old template. Or at least fight for keeping the discussion up

I liked the old settings too. But I know I need to learn these just as much.

Besides, I think it adds its own spice for the ratings. Players like Oxtheartist and others are making huge pushes with it. And hell who knows how far they'll go. I just think its lame that you're fighting for something when you have barely given the new a shot.

I don't have the feeling that i must prove myself. The blue ranking arrows beside everyones name are because many good players left the ladder and not because everybody improves ^^

Not that I've seen but he's not very good at communication outside of AmAs and his "Update blog" so all we can do is wait.

Fizzer is like a dog that has shit in your living room. When the owner comes home and yells at the dog, the dog quietly cowers in a sheepish way as it waits for the owner to stop yelling and start loving him again.
