Grodno is Russian and Polish, Hrodna is Belarussian.

Rugia also sounds Polish. In German, it should be Rugen (and I think it would look better).

But then again, just giving you advice.

Also, rather than naming territories South West England and such, you could find a more creative name, these hurt my eyes...

Yes however Grodno is more commonly used in English ,historically Polish and the same city. I don't know why I should change.

Now I see Rügen is more commonly used in English I'll be democratic : http://strawpoll.me/5586976
Which one does the community prefer the most?

Missing connections:

Bathurst Inlet <-> Baker Lake (North-East Canada)
Saguenay <-> Baie-Comeau (East Canada)
Quebec City <-> Bas-Saint-Laurance (East Canada)
Winnipeg <-> Eastman (East Canada)
Winnipeg <-> Parkland (South-East Canada)
Interlake Region <-> Parkland (South-East Canada)
Suncountry <-> Parkland (South-East Canada)

Also, Parkland seems to be meant to be two territories, but it is only one.

Fort McMurray <-> Uranium City (Central Canada)
Medicine Hat <-> LethBridge (Southern Canada)
Mackenzie <-> Grande Cache (Central Canada)
Vancouver <-> Central Coast (Western Canada)
Tahltan <-> Juneau (Canada/Alaska border)
Whitehorse <-> Dawson (Western Canada)
Fairbanks <-> Yukon Koyukuk (Eastern Alaska)

^Those are all the missing connections in Alaska and Canada alone. I would take a second look at your map to fix all these missing connections, cause it seems that they aren`t scarce

Although the regions of England are official, they are a bit redundant. They were created for an attempt at reforming local government that never happened and they hold no historical significance either. They're only used for government statistics and elections for the EU parliament.

But, if you're going by regions, then you should call "South East England" "Mainland South East" and call "South West England" "Mainland South West England" because you've included the Isle of Wight and Isles of Scilly as separate territories despite the Isles of Scilly being part of South West England and the Isle of Wight being part of South East England.

Jeremoabo -> Feira de Santana

Jeremoabo is actually sort of a small village, barely known. Feira de Santana is a small metrolis and the second largest city in the state of Bahia.

Ubèrlândia > Uberlândia

Scruffy little ` showed up for seemingly no reason? :O

Aquidauana > Porto Murtinho

Aquidauana is, in the map, very hard to tell if it's accurately placed. If it is it's on the very border of the territory.

Ji Paraná > Ji-Paraná

Just a small and forgivable mistake =p

Manaus > Apuí
Moura > Manaus

Manaus was misplaced. It's a little bit more to the North, were you marked Moura.

Boa Vista > Iaramonta
Caracaraí > Boa Vista

Also misplaced. Misplacing Northern Brazil's capitals is totally OK, they are just big ass jungles with a name anyway =P But for extra accuracy, misplacing is not gud

Rocas Atoll > Fernando de Noronha (Part of the state of Pernambuco)

The island placement is closer to FDN then it is from the Rocas Atoll's center. Also, I think it's more logical to capture an (inhabitaded!) island (and quite a beautiful one) over an atoll in the sea, right?

---

That's what I have after a quick skim of Brazil in the map. :)

Awesome map by the way, I want to see it in action >:D

EDIT: [removed]

EDIT2: The yellow thing is all over europe and is likely a placeholder for the bonuses you're gonna put in there. >_< Didn't figure out at first

EDIT 3: Missing connection: Palestina > Ammam (The Cisjordania part of palestine should connect to jordan, it does not)

Thank you Infection! Great job on your research. I'll change the most of what you said. It's quite a long text.

OK, most of these will go to their Turkish form of writing respectively:

Rugia -> Rügen
Aktau -> Aqtaū
Atyrau -> Atıraw (instead renamed to Atyraū)
Karagandy -> Karaganda
Balkash -> Balqaş
Kulsary -> Qulsarı
Zhympity -> Jımpïtı
Rybachi Penninsula -> Pechenga
Kaunaus -> Kaunas
Kostany -> Kostanay
Bulaevo -> Bulayevo
Ostkemen -> Ust-Kamenogorsk (found out both Oskemen and Ust-kamenogorsk are possible)
Taldykorgan -> Taldıqorğan
Shu -> Şw
Turkestan -> Türkistan
Shymkent -> Chimkent
Kyzylorda -> Qızılorda
Baikonur -> Bayqoñır
Besbay -> Bozoy
Kandyagash -> Qandıağaş
Shalkar -> Şalqar
Satpayev -> Sötbayev
Zhezkagan -> Jezqazğan
Karatau -> Qarataw
Arkalyk -> Arqalıq
Termirtau -> Temirtaw
Akchatau -> Prıozyorsk
Ayagoz -> Ayagöz
Ulan Bator -> Ulaanbaatar
Omnogovi -> Ömnögovǐ
Ili Kazakh -> Ili
Kashgar -> Kaxgar
Gegyai -> Gégyé
Chengnan -> Zhongba
Shigatse -> Xigazê
Degen -> Dêgên
Bank Island -> Banks Island
Principe -> Principé

Sorry but I use the English names, these are excluded:
Bear Island -> Bjørnøya
New Siberian Islands -> Novosibirskiye Islands
Wrangel Island -> Vrangel Island
Commander Island -> Kommandorskiye Islands

edited:
Hotan -> Xoten (changed to Hotän)
Bayan Olgii -> Bay-Ölke (changed to Bayan-Ölgii)
Kizilsu -> Kızılsuu (changed to Kızılsu)

also excluded:
Gar -> Sgar

Not sure:
Zhanibek -> Jönibek (tried to google Jönibek and I found no indication to the place, but a forum warlight post written by you)

not necessary (excluded):
Northern Ostrobothnia -> Oulu
Southern Ostrobothnia -> Vaasa
Belcher Islands -> Hudson Bay Islands

To Death, no you aren't missing something. Tangiers and Palestine now have their current English name. Thanks for correcting my mistakes.

To Zephyrum, yes I understand that most Brazilian places actually got misplaced. I worked with a mercator projected Brazil rather than a normal size map of Brazil to search the places. All what you said is now corrected.

Also connections (my least worry) is going to be fixed soon. There are more than 100 hundred wrong connections that not work. I know this and I'll work on this later.

Thank you everybody ! :-)

I can understand the bottom 3 here, but there are many islands named Bear Island (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bear_Island) - Bjørnøya specifically refers to that one.

Also, you used many foreign names for English names, I will show some later.

Bayan Olgii -> Bay-Ölke (changed to Bayan-Ölgii)

Both names work, but there is a Kazakh majority in Bay-Ölke, and in Kazakh, it is Bay-Ölke (in Mongolian, it's Bayan-Ölgii)

Zhanibek -> Jönibek (tried to google Jönibek and I found no indication to the place, but a forum warlight post written by you)

Well, not everything is on the internet, such as the Kazakh name of a small village. But you can look at the correspondence table -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhanybek (Ж-ә-н-і-б-е-к)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazakh_alphabets#Latin (J-ö-n-i-b-e-k)

not necessary (excluded):
Northern Ostrobothnia -> Oulu
Southern Ostrobothnia -> Vaasa

These names seem rather bland, and I think there are more divisions, like Central Ostrobothnia and Ostrobothina proper, so if you want to do it like that, you should include them. Also, give that Ostrobothnia is not even Finnish word for it (Pohjanmaa).

Belcher Islands -> Hudson Bay Islands

The Belcher Islands is one of the island groups of the Hudson Bay - there are more islands in the Hudson Bay; you include Akimski Island as bit of the territory.

Ostkemen -> Ust-Kamenogorsk (found out both Oskemen and Ust-kamenogorsk are possible)

I did the names in Kazakhstan by the majority tongue spoken, Ust-Kamenogorsk is Russian majority, as is north bit of Kazakhstan, most everywhere else, Kazakh. Ostkemen works, but I think Ust-Kamenogrosk is better.

Hotan -> Xoten (changed to Hotän)

I can't see when Hotän is really used. I guess its an older transliteration, but in modern Uyghur transliteration (Uyghur Latin Alphabet or Uyghur New Script, respectively), it is Xoten or Hotǝn.

Kizilsu -> Kızılsuu (changed to Kızılsu)

I'm actually not sure whether it is Kızılsu(u), I've seen both, until further notice, Kızılsu works.

also excluded:
Gar -> Sgar

Could be some anomaly of the Tibetan tongue, but https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gar_County says "sgar".

Also, I will go on listing missing connections, just in case you forget or miss them, if it is fine with you.

yes,yes. Examples like Ömnögovĭ (South Gobi) & Norrbotten (North Bothnia) but we don't need to translate everything exactly. I want to evade repetition in directions (North-,South-,West-,East-) and other derrivations and also look more at how common it's used.

edit: No I'll not change Catalonia to Catalunya neither Bay-Ölke to Bayan Olgii
