I have never heard of people asking each other for kisses in the real world. It just sort of happens. He can't have known that she would object until after he had fulfilled the dare...

If you increase the minimum wage, the rich cuts jobs to compensate.
Also, higher tax on the wealthy causes multi-national businesses to either leave or setup abroad which moves British jobs abroad.

Harsh reality of capitalism: Born into a low-income family? Have fun cleaning toilets for a living. University, they won't even take souls for payment, so nope. Basic education (pre-university): Poor. And it may be parents' own mess they got themselves in, but what are the children supposed to do?

Harsh reality of socialism: If you tax the rich more, you get more money. Depending on how much you tax and how much these rich want to spend, they still want good quality so they won't decrease the minimum wage (in general). Minimum wage is a ridiculous idea which Belarus has practically done away with, if you don't want to work for a low pay, you're free not to. We need higher taxes all around the stable world, EU is a good organisation for this.

Pretty much the Nordic countries and Germany (I'm not sure about Benelux) are the only ones really succeeding. (Switzerland might be a part of that too)

But France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy. hardly model economies.

Anyone who pays attention to EU a bit knows that Benelux is highly developed countries, Switzerland isn't part of the EU, and France is one of the great 3 or 4 of the EU. Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy have been through tough times, but this would never get solved using capitalist methods. If EU changes to more socialist policies, they will only get better faster. Iberia is recovering (GDP Growths 2013-2014 for Spain and Portugal, respectively: 1.4%; 0.9%;), the new Greek problems will not persist for more than a couple years (and most of its economic problems stem from massive spending on 2004 Athens). The biggest economic problem to the EU is following America's good blokes-bad blokes list, which have caused Hungary, Czech, Slovakia to start their own thing.
