Mirror loses another game, this time to Falker. This means the winner of the group must have 2 losses. So here is where it gets weird... if both Orange and Mirror lose their final games, then his balls wins the group with Falker placing second. But if Mirror wins, Falker wins the group on second tiebreaker and Mirror places second on head to head. If both Mirror and Orange win, then Falker wins the group with Orange taking second. If Orange wins but Mirror loses, the group will be decided based on Tenshi's and Metatron's remaining games vs Frank. Madness I tell you!

My game vs. Timinator was quite interesting I think. I panicked a bit when I realized that he had expanded in West Russia, and that probably was the turning point, but it was a fun game.

Frank beats Orange, which dooms Orange's hopes for promotion and keeps Frank's hopes to avoid relegation alive. Frank needs to win both his final games to avoid relegation. Same goes for Metatron and Tenshi. Meanwhile, if Mirror loses against Metatron, then his balls wins the group on head to head. However, if Mirror wins, Falker wins the second tiebreaker of the 3 way tie, and his balls will fail to promote due to having lost to Mirror.

Frank beats Tenshi! One more win against Metatron and Frank avoids relegation. Tenshi's only hope of avoiding relegation rests in Metatron beating Frank and losing to Mirror, which enables a tiebreak scenario that Tenshi comes out on top of (by virtue of beating Falker). This mean Metatron must win both his final games to avoid relegation, and Frank must win to avoid relegating himself.

Noob lost a 3rd game to bob... he booted but noob was loosing when he did boot. The hell is this guy doing picking a wasteland?? The loss means Don finishes second, and Noob can't finish better than 4th.

Mirror has beaten Metatron, which results in a three way tie for first place, broken by the final tiebreaker; basically, the player who has beaten the highest ranked players outside of the tie wins the tiebreaker. his balls and Mirror have each beaten Frank, Tenshi, and Metatron, while Falker has beaten Orange, Frank, and Metatron. So to resolve the tie, we compare Tenshi against Orange - and because Orange finishes ahead of Tenshi, Falker wins the final tiebreaker! Meanwhile Mirror snags the remaining promotion spot by beating his balls, and his balls remains stuck in B next season.

So the final game of the group is between Metatron and Frank. If Frank wins then Tenshi and Metatron will relegate, obviously. If Frank loses, there is a 3 way tie for last place, and again it comes down to the final tiebreaker. The wins outside the tie would be, Frank: Orange, Tenshi: Falker, Metatron: Orange. Therefore if Metatron, wins, Tenshi is the one who avoids relegation! Unfortunately Metatron's latest loss dooms him to relegation.

May I join for the next season?

Is it possible to post promotions and relegation's now? We know that if Metatron wins, Frank is relegated and if not Tenshi is relegated. Neither Noobschool or BlacKnight will finish in the bottom or top 2 in F.

Not sure how you are sorting out the 3 way tie at the bottom of D.

My recommendation on A would be to drop Ineffable (I have not heard from him in months, he may not be coming back). If you do this, then promote 1 extra player down to group F, and you take care of the issue with 8 players in F.

Since G has 6 players, I suggest only relegating 1 as 4th and 5th were 2-3 and 6th was 0-5 (seems like a good delineation line).

Since H only has 4 players (and my suggestion is to only drop 1 from G), don't drop anyone there (already have 4 promotion slots available).

I did J as overall records across all J divisions, not sure how Frank will handle that.

So if you want to demote all in the 3 way tie AND drop Ineffable, you could put the 3 way people in E and bump Ollie and Darkpie up to D. Master Turtle would take Ineffable's spot in B and Marachel would take his spot in C. Polakillo would get promoted from the 8 person group to fill the other spot vacated by Ollie and Darkpie getting promoted. I will make my edits in the post above to make it clearer.

This would make all groups 7 players except L

I thought I just shook off that group of death. Would bloody suck to have all of them in my group again :P

to be fair, once you are in the top 4 divisions it will be very competitive. I mean look at frank or Tenshi getting relegated.

Orange dropping out affects the promotions and relegations a lot, also our assessment of whether Ineffable is active or not. I agree with you Chris, we should probably remove him. I got a private mail from him on the 15th saying "sorry will be off for a while" and he is currently playing no games. But it's Frank's decision.

The rule Frank tends to use for promotions is that group N gets #1 and #2 from N-1, then #1 from N-2. But as dropouts mount, it gets more holistic... obviously we want to avoid promoting losing records and such.

Frank won't even consider promotions and relegations until he's done stalling the league lol
