I've been plagued by this function on larger maps.
Basically you can't watch the entire screen if you are changing the history by turns. It automatically zooms in onto the last move of that turn.

Does anyone else think this is a problem? I may make a uservoice if it gets decent support. To me it doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but if other people are as lazy as me in this way it'll be a very popular fix!

It isn't a very big deal, but I personally hate the auto-zoom and wish the zoom level was locked, or there was a way to disable auto-zoom.

I do play on a PC with a big screen, so I can see how it would make sense for a phone or tablet. I would support your uservoice but since this doesn't effect game mechanics I don't know if it's worth much time on a fix.

Edit: wow, looks like it is already configurable. Now I feel dumb, I've been playing for years...
