Look, I can be a troll sometimes (I am originally from MSF, after all). I know this. And to any of you who have been annoyed with any shenanigans I've pulled, I'm sorry you have been victimized. Not saying I'll stop, but still, sorry. There is one type of troll, however, that I never want to become, tempting as it may be: a spoiler troll.

You know the type of person I'm talking about. The ones who purposefully tell you the ending of a show or movie because they know you haven't gotten there yet. I have fallen victim to them three times. Once with the ending to "Death Note." Once with the ending to "Merlin." Once to the ending of "Breaking Bad," which might as well have copied the entire ending scene of "Death Note." This type of person is the worst kind of troll. One only gets to experience the feeling of watching an ending with no knowledge of what will happen one time. Those who take that experience away from you are trash. And whenever I am victimized by them, the only reaction gif that fits quite well with this topic that depicts my emotions is as follows:

Now, there are many kinds of very tolerable trolls. Like our very own Gen. NumbNuts, who roleplays as the chubby dictator Kim Jong Un. Nobody who doesn't deserve it is offended. I consider myself a tolerable troll. "Riddles," starting flamewars, and witty wording is about all I will ever do. But spoiler trolls do not represent us.

(If you are looking to become a troll, you should probably try watching "Gintama." AKA "Trolling 101," this show trolls pretty much everything anime related without getting sued. You can take plenty of notes on it.)

Somebody spoiled Death Note for you? That person should be the first name you write. You're not supposed to spoil Death Note! Death Note of all things!

At least I was able to watch "Code Geass" without spoilers.

I need to finish code geass myself. It was actually a great show but it got dropped from some reason I dont even remember. I should get back into it. Needless to say, no spoilers aha :P

I like these "spoilers" - I read the first bit of a book, then the last bit (where I don't fully understand what's happened", and then try to figure out how they got to where they got.

Try doing that with 1984 / Lord of the Flies.

Or, you know, save yourself from LOTF and don't read it at all.

jk I'm being too harsh on the book. It's actually quite philosophical. I think the schoolwork that came with it ruined the whole thing for me. Oh, but never watch the movies.

Hahaha.

I hate how school ruins good books. The Giver is an example I can remember. Coincidentally, what can be said about LotF movies can be said about the Giver movie.

Indeed, it's not the best read at times, but it has a very satisfying finale. Can't say the same about a lot of franchises / entertainment mediums.

"To Kill A Mockingbird" was the only one that was so good, that I didn't care about the work. Well, "Until We Meet Again" was also a good read. But yeah, everything else from "The Giver" to "Of Mice and Men" and even the books I read in elementary school like "Where the Red Fern Grows" and "Hatchet" was ruined with all that writing I had to do.

Ah "Where the Red Fern Grows" and "Hatchet". Red Fern grows was a nice book, but it fell flat for me halfway into it. I remember the first time I almost cried (watching a movie) was watching the Red Fern movie, I hated myself for not crying at the ending ):

Hatchet is just an introduction to the Hunger Games :p

Edit : clarification

But I'd still choose to read those again than to read a Shakespeare play. They're so famous, you already know what happens before reading. Plus, I don't know what they're saying. And they are PLAYS! PLAYS! Why do people want me to read PLAYS!?

I second that motion Martian.

Though kids don't read the books in school anyway; this generation is growing up with wikipedia.

^Not a bad thing either.

I learned more from looking into Wikipedia, various other online sources and educational/sometimes educational YouTube channels than I learned in Junior High or all of Secondary School even. That said, most of it is just as non-applicable, but it's a lot more fun when you can read the subjects you want to.

true.

90% of what they teach in school is useless.

seriously, #1 thing they should teach in schools: how to correctly operate a cash register.

Yeah, but 95/100 dropouts are losers who can't do anything because they're not qualified and doomed to a life of odd jobs/low income jobs. shyb one of them. It's even hard if you even do go to institute.

Your income should be based on your marks - that's the step to a society that values intelligence over useless brawn that can be taken over by machine. A quote from an electric engineer -

V won't kill you. I will.

Let's have smarter engineers that won't kill me.
