Do the warlight staff ever do anything about reported players? Over the long time I have played warlight, I have encountered many, nasty, rude, bully, players. A lot of the time they would hurt someone's feeling when the other person never retaliated. But not one time have I gotten a response from one of these reports. Which, unfortunately, led to even more bullying from that player in the future. Blacklisting also does nothing knowing that other players are going to be bullied. (A noted player who bullies is "Castle Bravo")
The issue is that the reporting system is literally broken. Not disclosing how I know this, but sometimes reports literally arrive blank with nothing in the explanation box despite it being filled out. The admins don't look at blank reports. (They should test this, see what causes it, and re-examine the code in the back end to see what's up). There are community members (i.e., not Fizzer/Mercer) that examine and vote on reports so the human end isn't useless and in fact is pretty active.
I would have to say, not disclosing how I know this, that the vast majority of all reports are coming through with text. Not too sure what you're talking about FlamingMeteoroid.
Every single one of the reports gets reviewed by one real live person. The reports include: links to the game the report originated from (if originated from a game), the text of the report, plus additional language from chat.
Fizzer is also on the record (somewhere) that the reporters don't get notified on the results of the reports on purpose.
If your problem is that people on Warlight are rude, I'd like to introduce you to the rest of the Internet. Being able to hide behind an anonymous persona has proven the potential for people to turn into real pieces of work. In fact, some people from the WOLF clan are known to create alternate anonymous characters to criticize the work other people do via forums.
So Staff#5, do you have a solution to people anonymous people posting things on the Internet?
I know the vast majority are working- otherwise you would've noticed what I mentioned. I just know that some of my reports came to you with no text despite my typing out paragraphs.
I actually went back and retyped one of them making sure I'd done everything properly, and was notified again that it came out blank. No error notification on my end, just a few paragraphs and links wasted that I wouldn't have known about had one of you not PM'd me about it.
Unfortunately, I don't have the tools to investigate what's going on. That said, I'm willing to bet the problem exists. PM me on my main (which you should know if you're an admin) if there's anywhere I can help with this issue. You already have two reports where I know the issue occurred, as well as a copy of the text that was supposed to show up with the second one.

I'm not going to bother with filing a proper bug report. Don't actually care about whether the issue gets fixed, have no way to demonstrate the bug exists (to my knowledge; I shouldn't even have the sort of info that convinced me the bug exists lol), and find some amusement in a system that categorically ignores problems if they weren't reported on the proper (not clearly visible or well-advertised) page.
Really just mentioned it because it was relevant. As I said before, I think the human components of the system are working properly.
