I'm the only one in my clan who has commented on this forum, but everyone else has stated repeatedly that they despise the new update. If you need confirmation, that's 20 more people who hate it.

The sad part is that this is actually a pretty decent update that improved on Warlight if you hadn't removed the tabs.

Please enlighten me as I have not used the My Games tab in a long time.

Explain the exact functionality that is missing in the dashboard. I get the dashboard has some stuff you don't like (not organized as most would like). But let's focus here in the real issue...what are you missing in the dashboard that you once had?

the dashboard doesnt function the same way the games do, so it takes longer to load from one thign to the other

What I like about the Dashboard:
The ability to right click on a game and load it in a new tab.
The ability to see the boot time and other settings.
The ability to load the page on a mobile device.

What I liked about the My Games/Open Games Tabs:
Being able to go back and forth between games and the list of games without needing to reload the page.
Not needing to refresh the page to refresh the games
Focus/Lack of clutter (I only see what I want to see at that moment)



What I'd like to see in the future:
The Open Games tab re-implemented with JavaScript/jQuery, so that I can refresh the open games without reloading the page.
Changes to the back end functionality that allow the Flash game to remain open, but be hidden when a person navigates from a game back to the Open Games tab. When a new open game is selected, the javascript would show the hidden flash div and update it with the selected game.
The My Games/Dashboard tabs to be implemented with JavaScript/jQuery, in a similar fashion.

Does Fizzer plan to move the game itself away from Flash, or just everything else?

So this is a speed issue only?

If I click on a game in dashboard, then hit BACK, it has the game list basically instantly (though it does not update the list with whatever you may have done like read chat, commit orders).

If I hit the multiplayer tab again, it takes a second to load everything. I have about 20 games going. How long is it taking for you?

If new updates regarding My Games and Open Games are not to be restabilished i will simply remove myself from playing and go to other games instead of this one.

As me i see most of ppl will do the same.

This was a non-update since most ppl despise it.

With 13 games it takes 2-3 seconds to load the dashboard. I miss the My Games tab, but this change isn't a deal breaker for me (not even close).

Bye Wrath and those 3 other players (won't be a lot more) that are going to stop playing because of this update, you will not be missed <3, 20 people screaming that everyone despises it isn't a majority of the players (the rest likes it or simply doesn't dislike it enough to start whining about it). I think that you can reach a lot more with suggestions on how to improve it than whining tbh

We'll see if u say the same when the game fade away. Cause it sure won't survive heading this way against players will.

Apart from that, yes, it will be my last day playing Warlight if it keeps the way it is.

It just sucks atm.

The game didn't change, all you have to do is trying something new and I'm pretty sure that most players will adapt (based on plenty of other 'hated' updates in the past in other games, everyone whines and after a week everyone is still playing)

I won't be discussin anymore. If i don't like i will siply change. Lots of games out there to loose time in trying this one to be as it was.

bring back my games and open games! game is unplayable now! That is the easyest thing to do since the links https://www.warlight.net/MultiPlayer?OpenGames=1 my games still work. Please give me any good reason for erasing the links from the game menu.

2-3 seconds for 13 games? You must have a pretty bad connection. Like I said 20 games loads for me in less than a second.

I've seen plenty of updates in other games with a lot more hate and with more impact on a game itself, and even though one was enough to make me stop not a single one of those updates made the number of active players drop, to reach that you need more than 1 update that you don't like (for a serious number of players to stop with a game)

If u make an update against majority of players, as it is obvious the case, from previous posts and all comments on the game, you are fighting against yourself.

Majority of players do not want this change and despise it.

I actually miss the My Games tab. My mind cannot handle everything on the same page. I just want to see my games and not the icons for the options in that game. Not a great excuse but im using it.

I still don't understand the issue here. One person said it takes 2-3 seconds for loading their games. Nobody else has done anything but whine without anything tangible. That won't change ANYTHING. If you have no real reason why the dashboard is worse, then stop posting in here.


All I am asking is that when you say you hate it, tell everyone why (with speed comparisons or whatever). There will be NO change unless he has some proof to go on. Not a bunch of people here just whining that they hate it. For the amount of fun you guys get from a free site, you do a lot of complaining. I hope your whining never pushes him over the edge.
