the year is 1990. saddam hussein, dictator of iraq, has taken over kuwait to secure its oil reserves. as the united states, you simply cannot have that, so you've gathered a coalition of like-minded democratic nations to give iraq a slap to the face. you have some saudi arabian help and the tattered remains of the kuwaiti army on your side, but they are too weak to push on their own. like in the 1st iraq war, the iraqis didn't fight to the last man, and saudi arabia would plausibly back out of the war if coalition troops were eliminated, so all you have to do is destroy all iraqi forces with your forces (army cap set to 2x income so no reinforcements) but you only have a small strip of borderland to work with. watch out for attack casualties, they will mount if you make careless attacks that accomplish no strategic goal. you do have 30 reinforcements but there will be no more so use them wisely! (hint: in the 1st iraq war, coalition troops cut off the eastern iraqi army by driving north. do you see any weak points in the line?)
