Germany the long-time powerhouse in the region has been reducing in power for years but has been our long-time ally. The other nations in the area sensing the time is right have banded together to pull down and share the spoils of Germany amongst themselves. Having been offerred a place in this treacherous cabal we have declined and have to assist Germany in taking down these upstart nations. A last minute negotiation has managed to persuade Slovakia to weigh in on our side and attack the stronger enemies from the rear, and emptying the treasury has obtained a couple of crack mercenary units to assist.
