How do I message someone if I haven't previously spoken to them? I can't type in someone's name on the "To:" line. I also haven't found them anywhere so I can't just do it from their profile. Thanks in advance for the help.

you have to find their profile in some magic way

I know of only of one way to find player's profile in WL.

Multiplayer > Create game > Search tab
