Sorry if this is somewhat off-topic.
I've been playing for a few years now and until the start of 2014, I haven't had any trouble starting games. Even since I started playing again yesterday(my hiatus started January last year), my games began almost as soon as I created them.
I haven't looked at any numbers, but my impression is that there is just as much activity as there was a few years ago.
