You know what else is retarded? Believing that the universe started from a random mass of energy (That apparently was just there) which exploded for no reason, and somehow a massive explosion managed to turn into all the complex things we see in the universe. Or believing that some weird sea creature crawled up on a beach and eventually transformed into animal life that we see today.

Well, when every genius on the planet, every person that have devoted their life to science agrees that you are wrong, you might consider that you may actualy be wrong. Even if half the planet have the same beliefs. I dont know why an argument of authority would be a logical fallacy. It is not meant to prove anything, rather than just put things into perspective.

This implies that science itself is always right and can never go wrong. Science, the thing which is always changing and has taken nearly every stance under the sun at one point in time.

Also, plenty of philosophers have devoted their entire life to studying things like creationism. (You may not agree with it, but that doesn't make their views any less valid.)

My position is of course superior and better, because my position is to follow the evidences. As opposed to blindly believe some 2000 years old myths without any scientific evidence, and even if the scientific evidences proves the myths wrong.

I brought that up as an example that the scientific theory you follow (I'll admit I broke my usual rule and just assumed that you subscribed to the Big Bang, given other knowledge, and I was right) sounds just as crazy and ridiculous as the beliefs you so casually mock.

You don't know what happened at the start of the universe, nobody does. Anyone who states they definitively know is lying. Just about any belief in the origin of the universe is as valid as the next, because there's no way to prove anything about it. Spitting on the beliefs of others because you think your own is superior is arrogant.

look at this picture, here is where our Sun is in the Milky Way (our Galaxy for people like Colonel who did not even realized we were inside a Galaxy...), the Black hole is the middle of our Galaxy, when you see the most light, because many stars are attracted by it. The blackhole did not devoured us yet, because we are far away from it: 26,000 light-years from the Solar System. And like the spiral arms don't mean that the mass is getting sucked to the center. They're just wave-like density patterns.
The bodies in orbit around the center of the galaxy are in stable orbit; just like the Earth around the Sun and the Moon around the Earth. What happens is that gravity accounts for the centripetal force (in the orbiting frame, gravity is balanced by the centrifugal force), so there is no net radial acceleration "left over" to suck the body in.
The only reason things would fall into the center is if they were headed there. This can happen if two stars pass by each other and are slingshotted in opposite directions, one of which gets sent to the center of the galaxy.

So the only chance to get close to a black hole, that if a large meteor hit and move the Earth out of its lane?

a meteor? well something big like the size of Mars or bigger and it would not be enough I think to move our planet outside (the moon was made from a big collision between the Earth and a planet the size of Mars, and our planet was not ejected from our solar system you see).
