We are doing a tiebreaker on round 2, then round 3 will start...

Reminder on format:

Round 1 - Regionals (6 regions)
1v1 RR on Strat ME (~9 games/player)
*Top 3 from each region advance

Round 2 - East/West Quarterfinals (9 players each)
1v1 RR on Battle Islands (8 games/player)
*Top 3 from East/West (6 total) advance

Round 3 - National Semifinals (6 players)
3v3 RR on Europe (all combinations of matchups = 10 games/player)
1v1 RR on Guiroma (5 games/player)
*Top 4 (total points) advance

Round 4 - National Finals (4 players)
2v2 RR on China (all combinations of teams = 3 games/player).
1v1 RR on Strat MME (3 games/player)
*Total points in Finals is champion.

As you can see Master of the Dead has moved on in the West, we are waiting to see if Andersault, Conquistadors, Awesomeguy move on (two will advance).

In the East we have JV, Oh Noes and Jefferspin in Round 3.

There seems to be some confusion here. I thought the Round 3 was going to involve a RR with all remaining players(i.e 6 player RR). However, you've created a RR of just 3 players? Is this intentional?

The spreadsheet doesn't have the team games mentioned either. I was really looking forward to all combinations of teams.


Why has there been a change in format?

I messed up. Looking at it again this is a national one (all 6 combined in a single tourney). I forgot since it has been a while. I think next season I want team games earlier (maybe even every round).

I think the format this season was perfect. Showing some level of 1v1 skill should be a pre-req before team games in my opinion.

Yeah, the manual setup sucks, but no way to fix that unless someone writes a CLOT to do all team combinations in a RR.

Trouble with the current format is if you are bad at a single template you are done. Maybe I will add team games to Round 2.
