I must be missing something and feel like a total idiot for asking this but who sets up the game? Do i invite my opponent?

Andy and Doom creates the games, you'll see them pop up "my games", then all you've to do is join and play. As I'm sure you can imagine that's a lot of work, if you say "gg" in chat once the game is over you'll make it easier for them (+it's polite :p) so remember to do that ;)

btw what constitutes a draw?

A draw will be given if both players vote to end the game, then both players will recieve 1 point

First games have been created, I did leave some stuff out of the messages to do with booting:


-If a player has not joined the game after 5 days the other player will get an automatic win
-If you do not join any games for the first week and are not on vacation you will be booted from the league

Do we post our results or do you guys just check our games?

They will check the games to see if thy end..... do saying GG (or something else in chat) wil make the game appear on their games list so that they can record it.

Both of us have our game filter set to "games where it is my turn or where there is unread chat messages". So if you say something (anything!) in public chat, we'll pick it up and add the result to the site, as the guys have said. Additionally, about once a week we try and check all ongoing games, to ensure people have joined / check if they've finished etc!

The reason I took back my interest is, I'm not sure of how many games you play at once. Is it 2 (tournament + round robin), or more?

there are 2 multi-day games created each week, so it depends how fast each of your games are played to how many games you will have at once. I think the average for most people in the league is about 3 at one time but could be more or less

How many players are promoted/relegated at the end of each season?

3, but usually more are promoted as if we get people drop out of higher divisions more will be promoted in lower divisions because of more spaces. But if no one drops out there will be 3 promoted/relegated from each div.

First round of the Cup has finally finished and all the results are on the website. The second round draw has also been made and the games will be created tomorrow.

great to see that this is still running (again) after all this time.

my predictions for who will be winning the games you just posted (without template knowledge)
1. Dom365 is in general better then OutOfControl but he can cause an upset for sure.
2. I would go with Bjarke but this game is very close in general so any of them will be able to win here.
3. Another hard matchup. I don't know RA that good so i won't predict anything here but i know both are very good players.
4. 2 players i've played in the passed in this league but i won't say anything more since i don't know them enough to make a prediction.
5. This is maybe the hardest of the matchups in the list. MoD has a slight advantage i'd say but if it's 0%SR template you can't count Jefferspin out.
6. I don't know anything about Vincent but i know Oh Noes is a very strong player as well so i would give this game to him.
7. Beren is here the favourite for me to win although White Wolf is a very decent player, i don't think he will be able to beat Beren in general
8. Here i have to go with Smileyleg, he has impressed me with his play in the randomized ladder showing he can adept to any type of map he gets in front of him.
