Who here hates it when they join a games (e.g. 1vs1vs1) and then the other two just don't attack each other (usually because they know each other). I know it's a good move technically but I feel it ruins the fun of this game. Here's one example: http://warlight.net/App.aspx?GameID=1123230

I want to know what everyone thinks about this.
Is it:
-Simply a tactical move and so is completely fine
-Allowed but shouldn't really be used as it imbalances the game.
-Banned, it is completely wrong.

That's total BS. Those guys didn't attack each other even once until after SM was eliminated. There is no recourse and no way to stop it from happening. That's why I don't bother to play FFAs.

Yeah, there seems to be a lot of ways to circumvent the rules here. I doubt I'll be sticking around much longer, either.

Why didn't they just play a 1v1? That's what ended up happening anyway only someone had to take a loss first.

On the other hand, they may have just not attacked each other. I doubt it though, they seemed pretty familiar with each other.

i can see reasons for them to attack you primarily, since you actively spoiled both their bonuses... but it's obvious at a few situations that they intentionally didn't break each other, and especially how he maneuvered his armies around the e.asian area's from japan instead of attacking through, that seems highly unusual..

Oh well, nothing you can do about it. I need to try and play with people who don't know each other.

i usually look at records/profiles. If one guy has a great record and the other has terrible record, I stay away.

I really hate when that happens. But i also think it is part of the game. If both teams can take an opportunity to come out ahead, it wouldn't make sense for them not to do it
