Sad to hear this.
I just come back to this game after 7(!) years pause and found this thread when looking for map of the week.
What I loved about MOTW was the auto games. I played a brand new map (to me) at least once every week that had some kind of lowest standard since it was at least best of four, and the ones I liked I played 3-4 auto games.
How hard would it be to add an auto game "Random map of the week" with the same auto game settings as the MOTW, but selected at random from e.g. the X% maps with the best score, or from the maps that has won MOTW before, or a mix of some criterias?

Yes, even if MOTW dies, we should keep going auto games on them. I mean the 1st Auto game should be on MOTW1 winner mep, the second on the Week 2 winner...
Another good idea!

Map of the Week was my Go-To for WarZone... from places I'd never heard of, to ... dog guts and weird stuff.
I'll have to go back to Week1 and start over... Please let us all know if some other form of home-grown maps for us to play emerges. Thanks.
