i still don't understand how someone could get mad enough to BL the whole clan, especially when they aren't connected to whatever this feud is. i think you have to give props to poon squad for stepping up to a second challenge and budging somewhat on the terms. also props to cat juggernaut for extending the olive branch. and props to both clans for attempting to settle this in a way that isnt just some soap opera bullshit.

but i do have to say, auto distribution is no way to decide something. so much luck that someone is gonna feel robbed.

Thanks Shyb, not sure why Ryiro hates us so much. I feel manual distribution is fine for 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2. But with 16 people all going after the same places cant end well. No one is going to get what they picked and will end up being auto anyways. Auto with random warlords just seems more fair.

Can anyone convince me otherwise?

and you have 1 pick for each player which makes 16 picks in total
in standard 3 vs 3 5x7 game total picks are 30 and the game still is very good

playing 0 neutrals in auto distribution with light fog is just like playing lottery games
you win or you lose on turn 1,and you should know it
the fact that you don't know which team has won on turn 1 and you still continue playing bugs me the most

Ok but its still fine with our settings. Just because you dont like our settings you blacklisted out whole clan? I think ive blacklisted 3 people total in my whole career.

since you have no prerequisits and no BL high bootrate players join and ruin the game for rest of team B

Neutrals at 0 and light fog still require you to make smart moves to win Ryiro. It's not a lottery game just because it's not the settings you use.

I also agree with Pooncrew, with 16 people nobody's gonna get the territories they want anyway so manual distribution is just a waste of time

Ive tried pre requisite games, they literally never fill up. Im not going to blacklist every player who gets booted thats insane. If you like the ladder settings so much then play the ladder games. They arent the be all end all of warlight however, you can still have competitive games with altered settings.

Ryiro, clearly you dont get that warlight expands past ladder games. As ive stated before we simply prefer the 1 territory to start. The games we play are still competitive. Multi days never fill up with pre reqs. I had one open for 3 days so i gave up

so adding good prerequisits is not an issue
most of the community adds prerequisits to get a decent game
there's no arguing about it

i've been playing RoR long before i started playing ladders

They dont fill up brother, and as ive stated multiple times. Id say 90% of warlight games there is at least one booted player pre reqs or not.

id that were the case avrage bootrate of everyone would have been much higher
i play about 10-15 games per day sometimes and hardly 1 or 2 times someone gets booted
most of the days no one gets booted
thats cause when you keep boot prerequisits you're more certain your opponent wont get booted

Im just telling you from my experience I have never been able to fill up games with pre requisites. Probably doesnt help that half the community has blacklisted me because they dont like my name haha

As Pooncrew said, we tried setting prerequisites. it didn't work.

We set it at 20% max boot rate (which is the requirement to join our clan) and after a few days of repeatedly reopening the seats, the games weren't full.

But again, I'm getting kind of sick of this purist attitude. Just because we play our games a little differently than you doesn't mean they aren't competitive. You act like because you use fog and neutral armies your shit doesn't stink.

but lightfog+auto distribution +0 neutrals is bad

Again, just cause we prefer different settings doesn't make our setting bad and yours good. Just different. We think fog sucks, you think auto distribution sucks. And that's okay.

The beauty of warlight is being able to set your own rules. Not everyone has to play your way.
