Happy solar eclipse, everybody!
The moon covered the sun at 09:30, in Wales, UK, with about 90% coverage. This was the first time I witnessed a solar eclipse.

Where and when and what %age coverage did any of you get?

yeah and because of that Eclipse, there will be a big impact on the tidal waters this weekend, some people say the biggest tide since at least 100 years (I am near the Ocean...)

I'm really lucky to live in south west England, the sky cleared from quarter past eight to leave a low level mist, and we had a party on the roof garden of the local sixth for college and watched what turned out to be a nice eclipse.

Almost as good as my memories of the 1999 one! Then walking home in the weird grey light of a solar eclipse was great, kinda mystical. An all-round good day for me - it's just a shame a lot of the UK was under cloud.

10/10 would eclipse again.
