Cool idea. I'm not sure how many interesting games it will produce though.

The effectiveness of the namib picking style came with suprising and catching your opponent and their standard picks off guard. If you know your opponent is going to namib-pick or if both of you triple pick it kind of defeats the object.

Then again I guess this is being done for fun rather than for educational purposes. If so, ignore what I just said.

@Beren, since we are following Namib's research, I am willing to say yes to your question if you can link one of his games that shows he has done this. If Namib made three wasteland picks without triple picking, then we can too. ;)
