Hello, this is my first map.

The map is based on the world of The Kingkiller Chronicle, created by Patrick Rothfuss.

All the map info is taken from the first two books of the trilogy, The Name of the Wind, and The Wise Man`s Fear, which is very little info. Maybe the 10% of the map is true. The other 90% contains:
-Locations that are mentioned in the books, but not located in the map, so I located them with my thoughts.
-There aren't so many cities mentioned to occupy all the territories I drew, so I completed them with other names of the books: characters, religions, companies...

Until the third book is out, it's hard to do it better or more accurate. But at least there will be a map of this great book series in Warlight.

This is the preview: https://www.warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=40841

If anyone knows about it, and can help to improve the map just tell me.

Meanwhile, any testers?

I dont know the book, anyhow, it looks nice on first glance. I like your obstacles and sea ways. also the cities within some territories are a nice idea. unfortunately, there are still some issues.
You should seperate the overlapping bonus borders. your bonus system is unballanced. the bonus far ceald is hard to conquer, because Chandrian isnt connected with any of the other territories. some adjacent bonusses have very similar colours, which makes it hard to seperate them. and at least the cities are too small. Two digits wont fit inside them.
anyway, good first attempt. =)

missing or wrong connections:
Tinue - Lackless
Tarbean - The Reft Bay <- I guess this was made on purpose, in which case I would suggestto to place the city adjacent to the sea.

why do Imre and the university connect?

I didn't draw rivers, but The University and Imre are connected by a bridge, and I don't know how to draw them yet. But I wanted to have them connected, it might be a bad idea?

You should seperate the overlapping bonus borders.your bonus system is unballanced.

How can I solve that overlapping problem?
I had some doubts on the big bonuses, if you/someone can help me with that I would appreciate.

the bonus far ceald is hard to conquer, because Chandrian isnt connected with any of the other territories.

Yes I am realizing that now, maybe I could connect Chandrian-Haliax.

I would suggestto to place the city adjacent to the sea.

It was made on purpose yes, but I drew the long coast border first, and then I didn't know how to draw the city on it. :S

Thanks a lot for all your advices :)

Borders of territories in different bonuses should be adjacent. But mines are overlapping. How do I fix that? How to make that double border?

And for making the city (Tarbean) adjacent or over the line of the sea, I don't know how to do it.
If I do like I did with other territories (Path < Division), it doesn't work. So these are my biggest doubts, and I can't find that on the wiki.

I only have the german version of inkscape. so I will try to explain, which functions you need to use (at least you have to find out the exact commands for your own version).

to seperate borders. have a look at the left bar and choose the tab beyond the arrow. it is a an arrow with three connected dots. click at the territory, where you want to change the borderlines and move the dots manually until the lines dont overlap anymore.^^ sounds silly, but thats it.

when you use division make sure, that the cutting polygone lies above the one that is supposed to be cutted.
