Hey. This is my first forum post on here so excuse any kinds of formatting mistakes.

So, I was working on my map, I tested it and it worked perfectly fine against AI so I sent it in. A day later I get an Email back and I'm told it has overlapping territory's and missing connections. I went back through and couldn't find these So I figure I must be doing something wrong. Here is the map:https://www.warlight.net/SinglePlayer?PreviewMap=40185 and if anyone would like to playtest it with me then just PM me sometime in the next few days.

I'd be very grateful for any feedback, so thanks a bunch if you send some.

I can't tell what's wrong. Looks like a fine map. I'll test.

Here's a couple notes:
Tobago is too small to fit an army number.

There's a missing connection between Pacific Costa Rica and Southern Nicaragua, as well as Pacific Honduras - Pacific Nicaragua, and Southern Guatemala - Belize.

But the most important thing is that your territory drawing method is most likely using the fill tool on a bitmap map, and it looks like a complete mess. If you want to make it give a better impression to new players, you should use better methods. I recommend using actual drawing tools to draw out paths (like the Bezier curve and straight line tool) as a starter, and this (https://www.warlight.net/Forum/10806-easy-tutorial-making-clean-map-borders) tutorial should help you with further tidying those borders up.

Thanks for the feedback Moros, I fixed the connections and uploaded a new version of the SVG with a new Tobago that's large enough to fit army number (Though slightly bigger than reality).

The way I made the borders was by copying and pasting a map of the area into a second layer of inkscape and sketching based off of that, I don't want to totally redo the map so though I will keep that tutorial handy for my second map I'm not going to be re-doing the map with that tutorial in mind. If anyone else has any other problems, specifically overlapping territory's then please tell me.

After you fixed it I don't see anything wrong. I will test if you still need someone.

yanrad11 you should consider to put in some more effort creating a map. If you think half an hour is enough to fix the issues on this map, you are totally wrong. Creating a map does take some time and shouldnt be done on friday afternoon between five and seven pm. I done want to be offending, but Moros is right. You are obviously not familiar with the most basic technics. you should have a look at other good maps for example to get an impression of how a map could or even should look like.
